Washers and polishers

Sorting and Grading

Accurate sorting and grading assures maximum crop profitability so that your produce always sells in the right market. This can then reduce manual labour costs and result in increased throughput for the producer.

Each sorting system is tailor-made for specific produce and can offer pin-point grading as well. We offer state-of-the-art Newtec, Emve, Haith and Sermac equipment. Grading can be according to size, colour, density and surface quality.

Goldpack can supply feeding hoppers designed to meet your exact specifications. These minimize manual handling and are designed to protect the crop. They range from heavy-duty grading-line reception hoppers to smaller scale even-flow hoppers,which feed produce onto a packaging line. Hoppers can be designed for multi-use i.e. serving a static in-feed system or as a mobile unit for multiple site use.

Goldpack weighing machines can provide accurate portion control for all types of produce. This is critical when times are tight! This precise weighing reduces the amount of produce give-away in each pack and means higher crop returns for our customers.

Weighers can range from single-head to fifteen-head and can operate in tandem with automatic and semi-automatic feeding lines.

Why not try our semi and fully-automatic baggers, which connect directly to the weigher and can handle a wide range of produce? Goldpack is able to create  bagging systems that meet the requirements of the most demanding customers and minimizes returns and costly packing mistakes.

These baggers can fill poly or mesh bags in paper or plastic and come in a variety of sizes. Our baggers fill to the correct weight through accurate selection of the best possible combination of produce.

Goldpack’s punnet-filling solutions allow for easy and accurate filling of punnets from the weigher. Our sizer software fills punnets by both count and weight. Then superb software delivers the exact number of pieces for filling, to achieve an accurate minimum weight.
